The Trust is committed to providing high-quality P.E provision to local primary schools and has spent the last few months updating redesigning and perfecting new programmes for the 2019/20 academic year. Designed by sports specialists all Bury FC P.E sessions promise to be delivered by well trained, educated staff. Each session works towards the guidelines set by the new national school's curriculum as well as your school's vision.
Primary Stars PE
Through the Premier League, we are able to offer Primary Stars PE sessions providing a safe and enjoyable programme for all children up to 11 years old.
Covering many different areas such as Mastering Basic Movements, Principles of Attacking and Defending and Outdoor Adventure Activities.
This programme is all about giving children the right start to the day. We provide structured activities for pupils of all ages in a safe and fun way. These clubs allow children to get energetic before the start of lessons and can help to improve concentration and behaviour in the classroom.
This programme is tailored to each individual school but is based around giving children more structured activities to best use the playtime they have to enhance their physical activity levels. We promote positive football behaviours at playtime, asking ‘Do you… Play the Right Way?’.
After school Clubs
This program is based around the children having fun and enjoying a specific sport or activity to help improve children’s daily physical activity levels. Our After School Clubs are priced from £3 Per session per child per week so a six week After School Club would cost each child attending £18. Alternatively, we have set prices for after school clubs that schools wish to fund and support themselves. You can now pay online for your child to attend ours after school clubs at your school.
Working with either a full class or a select group we will explore the types of things we can engage pupils in data handling, calculating time and position and direction, enabling them to apply their knowledge to real-life football challenges.
Premier League Maths Stars uses the inspiration and fun of sport to connect pupils’ learning to the world around them. Theses sessions build pupils' confidence in data handling, calculating time and position and direction, using examples from the world of sport to explore areas such as match analysis, accounting, and groundskeeping. Working each week to complete challenges with sporting rewards at the end of the session. Through the half term, the group/class will work together to complete a class challenge for bigger class rewards. Our staff will, adhere to school policies, follow behavior policies, promote positive behavior, support school ethos, follow school reward system.
In partnership with The Premier League we are able to offer Reading Stars sessions providing a safe and enjoyable programme for all children up to 11 years old. We are proud to be delivering the Reading Stars Programme in the Bury Area. What We Offer Exploring the fun of reading through our 6 - 10 week reading stars session. Working with either a full class or a select group we will explore the types of things we can read, why reading is important and fun. We are proud to be delivering the Primary Stars Programme in the Bury Area. What We Offer Our staff work through challenging topics such as resilience, diversity and self-esteem, brought to life by personal insights from children and top figures of the sporting world. We can offer a range of activities surrounding PHSE including our positive people programme, resilience and team building programme and our Nutrition and health programme. Each subject programme is available as a 6 or a 12 week programme to fit in with school requirements. Each programme comes with its own assessment and progression form which will be completed for every child inline with Ofsted standards. Our Packages are flexible and work to meet schools needs. We Tailor each package to the individual school so contact us for a package for your school. School Sessions Positive People Programme - this programme uses both individual and team activities to show and develop different positive personality traits. We work on understanding our actions, listen skills, trying our hardest, following rules and instructions and the importance of treating everyone as equals. Resilience and Team Building Programme - this programme uses a variety of sessions and activities to develop pupils skills such as practical team-building, cooperation, negotiation and compromise to achieve a goal. Through out these sessions we are trying to change attitudes from "I can’t" to "I can". Nutrition and Health Programme - this programme uses both physical activities and classroom based activities to show to pupils how they can improve their health through both physical activity and understanding of nutrition. Nutrition sessions focus on what it means to be a footballer as well as the importance of hydration in keeping us healthy and tips for staying hydrated. The physical activities we look at are things such as the effects exercise has on the body and how we can keep our bodies health. Our staff are fully qualified Level 2 coaches and have completed PESS Level 3 or Education and Training Level 3. All staff also undertake both safeguarding and first aid training along with an enhanced Criminal Records Check. Daily Mile This is a fully-inclusive, free and simple initiative which improves the physical and mental health and wellbeing of children. There is no extra workload for teachers and it helps to raise attainment. We can support in the delivery and supervision of this within your school. Super Movers These session will help schools achieve government guidelines of a recommended 30 minutes of daily physical activity. The Premier League and BBC have teamed up to get the nation’s primary school children moving to warm up their brains ready to learn. Super Movers offers fun videos, ideas and incentives to inspire children to be more active throughout their day.
