The community trust aims to deliver quality sports sessions in a variety of capacities throughout our local community, we deliver specialist sessions in local special schools for those who find it hard to access mainstream sporting sessions. These sessions include weekly PE lessons in Millwood and also delivering a football based after school club in Elms Bank. Elms Bank - Here every Thursday from 3:30pm - 4:45pm Our community Coordinator delivers an after school football club to the pupils of Elms Bank. The club incorporates the basics of football into fun, interactive sessions testing the pupils to progress their basic skills. Millwood - Here our Community Development Officer delivers weekly PE sessions for the children of Millwood school, teaching them a variety of different sports and skills in a wide range of sports, this varies from football to athletics. We aim to deliver fun, inclusive sessions for every child regardless of their needs as we cater for all. U16/open age teams - Here at the trust we also run three pan disability teams. One being an U16’s and the other two open age. We welcome anyone and everyone to our teams as more the merrier. We aim to provide very high quality football sessions for the players to give them the best chance to improve their football skills. They play once a month against teams from all over Lancashire including Burnley, Manchester United & City and many others at Salford sports village on a Friday night. If you are someone or know someone who this would suit perfectly please don’t hesitate to come down to our sessions which are held at PlayFootball Bury form 17:00 pm - 18:00 pm for the U16’s and then 18:00 pm - 19:00 pm for the open age.
